Master Programs at ITTelkom

The establishment of Master's Studies of Electrical Engineering-Telecommunications STTTelkom based on the idea that the development of telecommunications technology is ewver so quickly, it’s for this reason the field of Telecommunication Engineering expertise and competence in the specific field / Telecommunication Services Industry-graduates at the Masters. Graduates are expected to have the ability to research and development of telecommunications technology for both national and international needs. In the era of globalization many telecommunications companies that need workers in the field of telecommunications, so that graduates are expected to take a role and contribute in competency held.

The establishment of internal Studies Master of Electrical Engineering of Telecommunications of STT Telkom is also based on the internal condition of the real capability of STT Telkom itself. There is a program of study which is realted to bachelor degree of Teknik Telekomunikasi (accreditation A), adequacy of facilities and infrastructure and management systems, human resources and the existence of the lecturers who meet qualifications for a Master's Studies of Electrical Engineering-Telecommunications at the Department of Electrical Engineering Department STTTelkom and other related capital base to be built Master course of Electrical Engineering-Telecommunications.

The needs and capabilities of the above makes the program of Electrical Engineering of Telecommunications S2 into a course that has the basic formation of a strong presence and can be in the middle of the community in order to provide a real contribution.
Organizing educational activities in the Master of Engineering Program Telecommunication STTTelkom refers to the Decision No Ministry of Education of Indonesia number 0686/U/1991 and Decision No Ministry of Education of Indonesia. 234/U/2000 requires that the cumulative burden of studies 36 - 50 SKS to be completed in the time of study the cumulative 3 - 10 semesters for a Master's degree Engineering (MT).

Curriculum Studies of Program Master of Electrical Engineering-Telecommunications STTTelkom initially to give the burden to students studying at least 40 SKS, and the further development of the curriculum in 2004, students are given the burden of the study at least 36 SKS with emphasis on the field of Electrical Engineering-Telecommunications Engineering with peminatan Telecommunications and Telecom Management.
