IS researcher from Indonesia

Last week, in Kick Andy, I was so surprised that DR. Juliana Sutatnto, she told us, that even she didn not pass her "UMPTN" at that time, she tried to find scholarship and could continue her study in National University of Singapore, and now beeing assistant of Profesor in Swiss. Juliana Sutanto is currently an Assistant Professor in Management Information Systems in the Department of Management, Technology, and Economics of ETH Zurich.

From June 2003 till June 2008, Juliana Sutanto was an Instructor/Teaching Assistant in the Department of Information Systems of School of Computing at the National University of Singapore (NUS). She obtained her Doctoral degree and Bachelor degree (Honours) in Information Systems from NUS in 2008 and 2003 respectively. In her undergraduate study, she received a full scholarship from the Ministry of Education in Singapore.

Her research works have been published in top-tier journals such as Journal of Management Information Systems (JMIS), IEEE Transaction of Engineering Management (IEEE TOEM), Communications of the Association for Computing Machinery (CACM), and conferences, such as International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS), Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS), and Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS).

Juliana Sutanto is a member of the Association for Information Systems (AIS), and an ad-hoc reviewer for journals and conferences, such as Management Science, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management (IEEE TOEM), Database for Advances in Information Systems, Organization Studies, European Journal on Information Systems (EJIS), and International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS). Hopully that we can follow her vision to always continue study until Doctoral program :)
